A: Normal bone marrow cells
Step 1: Examine normal bone marrow cells
Look at the series of pictures of normal bone marrow films and examine the different cell types.  Try to memorize their characteristics.
Step 2: Reveal the names of normal bone marrow cells
Consider what kind of bone marrow cell you are looking at. Then click on the individual cells to find out what their names are.
Step 3: Recognize normal bone marrow cells
Name the designated bone marrow cells and find out if you are right or not.

B: The cellularity of bone marrow
Stufe 1: Examine the cellularity
Examine the bone marrow films at 100-fold magnification in order to master assessing marrow cellularity.
Step 2: Determine the marrow cellularity
Determine how high the cellularity is for each bone marrow film. You will receive immediate feedback as to whether or not your answer is right or wrong.

C: The iron content of bone marrow
Step 1: Examine the iron content and ringed sideroblasts of bone marrow
Examine the bone marrow films at 100-fold and 400-fold magnification in order to master assessing iron content.  In addition, you can also look at ringed sideroblasts at 1000-fold magnification.
Stufe 2: Determine the iron content
Determine the iron content for each bone marrow film. You will receive immediate feedback as to whether or not your answer is right or wrong.
