Definition:
The fibroblasts are part of the bone marrow stroma. They are part of the three-layered sinusoidal wall, consisting of endothelial cells, the basement membrane and fibroblasts. Fibroblasts can evolve into adipocytes.
Appearance:
Fibroblasts are normally not assessed in the bone marrow differential.
