Monocytes

Definition:
Bone marrow monocytes are components of monopoiesis. The preliminary stages, monoblasts and promonocytes however, can not be clearly recognized by light microscopy . They constitute about of nucleated bone marrow cells (myelogram).

 

Appearance:

Monocyte
Morphologically, monocytes in bone marrow are not different from the monocytes in the peripheral blood.
